Hi thanks for the opportunity to review this product. Shipping was extremely prompt thanks for that. I’ll definitely be looking at purchasing parts from you guys in the future. But I must say that extreme care was taken to make sure all surfaces were clean when using the sealant including wiping over twice with brake cleaner then over again with a locktite primer. But after applying and leaving for a day to dry. My sump is still leaking. And when I checked the use by date it had already expired. So I’m not sure what to do but I was actually thinking of making a cork style gasket from a sheet. As the use by was the 12/23 it wasn’t far over so I don’t think this would be the issue really. But anyway I just thought I’d let you guys know that it was actually out of date.

Service & Maintenance Guide

Minor Service - Oil Service

Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!

Intermediate Service

Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.

Major Service

Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.

Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.

Intermediate Service

Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.

Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.
