Genuine Volkswagen / Audi product.

These are GENUINE Audi R8 Ignition Coils (07L905115B), from the facelift R8 2016+. They have real working QR code and stamped product information.

Please be aware any coil packs that have nothing stamped (no product code) on the top of the coil pack are not genuine, do not buy these, we only sell genuine stamped coil packs. 

If you're comparing on price, be sure you're looking at genuine Audi R8 OEM coil packs. Many available on the Australian market look the same, but are not OEM. You can tell by the printing stamped on the upper side of the connector (as pictured - but hard to see!).

This coil pack is a a new part code used only on the Audi R8 V10 2016+. These coil packs can also be used as an upgrade for FSI or TFSI engines, as they have a higher output for a stronger spark. They're a common upgrade for the Golf GTI MK5/6, MK6R, S3 8P,  B8 A4, B8 A5, Scirocco R etc or any other 1.8/2.0T

They are highly recommended especially if you have upgraded your turbo. Upgrade to these before you tune to not be left on the side of the road!

Please note these do not fit MQB or gen 3 EA888 engines, for these use RS3 coils and RS7 plugs. If you're unsure if it will fit your vehicle, please contact us to confirm.

Does not fit MK7, 8V, B8.5 and B9.

Service & Maintenance Guide

Minor Service - Oil Service

Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!

Intermediate Service

Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.

Major Service

Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.

Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.

Intermediate Service

Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.

Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.
