Problem fixed

The Haldex is an important part to control the Quattro AWD system for Audi. When it fails you are only driving a FWD and loss of much performance. The replacement of this part when needed ensures full Quattro system and launch control without wheel spin. VAGPARTS deliver the goods as always. Perfect!

Gen 5 Haldex is the latest generation fitting most Volkswagen, Audi & Skoda MQB and others from 2013 onwards. It is common for your Haldex to fail within 3 to 5 years from manufacture.         This product may require you to prime the pump a number of times with VCDS or mechanic tool. When fitting a pump, or even just after a clean out and service it is essential to carry out the “pump learn” function in the “basic settings” of the Haldex control unit, VCDS/VAGCOM can do this and so can the main dealer ODIS system.

        Minor Service - Oil Service

        Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!

        Intermediate Service

        Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.

        Major Service

        Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.

        Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.

        Intermediate Service

        Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.

        Minor Service - Oil Service

        Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.
