Very happy with the product and this totally transformed my family 7seater into a proper VRS as it should be from the factory. I had both the ECU and TCU remapped. The ECU made a very noticeable increase in torque and acceleration. The sound also was enhanced and it sounds now like how it drives. The TCU was arguably the greatest improvement as the factory transmission settings in sport mode were awful compared to my old B8.5 Audi S4. This made it fun again for me to drive in sport mode and totally transformed the experience. Hold gears longer and changes are fast and throttle response better. Only slight negative was that my mapping files were not there for the TCU tune initially in the SPI app, but I contacted 034 Motorsport but they were able to resolve this within 3 days which wasn’t too bad. Mobile flashing was pretty straightforward. Great that you can flash back to stock so easily as well. VAGParts customer service was good as well because I raised quite a few questions at the start to make sure I purchased the right tune and they responded pretty quick and were knowledgeable. NOTE:E85 calibrations are not a flex-fuel style tune. This tune requires only E85 be pumped into the fuel tank, with a full tank of E85. Gasoline blends and race fuel mixtures should not be used resulting in engine damage. THERMAL MANAGEMENT SAFETY
With increased power, comes increased heat. With increased heat, comes the need for additional management. For charge air temperature, 034Motorsport has implemented key safety features to keep your engine running optimally and safely in virtually any condition - just like the OEM calibration. Substantial effort was spent on balancing the trade off of charge temp for power, and improving the compressor efficiency so that it doesn't generate too much charge temp.
Charge Air Temp:When the charge temp exceeds 80*C there is a reduction in power output. When the charge temp exceeds 85*C there is a more significant reduction in power output. This charge temp limitation is there to prevent knock events, which can severely damage a motor. With these safety measures in place, you can confidently drive your car, from the top of Pikes Peak to Death Valley, knowing the factory ECU has optimal performance and safety covered..
Coolant Temp/Fan Strategy:From the factory, Volkswagen likes to run hotter water temps to reduce fluid friction losses from cooler, more viscous oil. While better for efficiency, this strategy becomes a safety issue when loads and heat are increased. 034Motorsport calibrators have rescaled the coolant temperature targets and fan control strategies to target lower coolant temperatures when in higher heat conditions, allowing the car to run within a safe heat range rescaled for the added heat that comes from tuning the engine. Once again, this means that 034Motorsport calibrators have kept your confidence in safety fully intact from the OEM configuration.
FUEL SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION
While E85 provides substantial increases in power, it requires about 30% more fuel than standard pump gasoline per ignition cycle. Utilizing a variety of fuel stratified injection strategies, 034Motorsport calibrators have further optimized the factory fuelling system to be able to adequately support full E85 on factory hardware for Stage 1 & Stage 2.
START/STOP BUTTON MEMORY
Dynamic+ Tuning for the EA888.4 2.0T retains the Start/Stop engine functionality, but allows users to set the memory for the system based on preference. If you do not want the Start/Stop system to run, turn it off via the in-cabin button and the car will store that selection even after key cycling the car. If you would like it to stay on, select it to be on via the in-cabin button. This is done in a completely OEM fashion, helping enhance the overall experience of driving your car!
ENHANCED CRACKLES IN SPORT MODE
034Motorsport engineers have enhanced the crackles for maximum auditory pleasure on both Stage 1 & Stage 2! Crackles can be toggled on or off via Drive Select. They will be on in Sport and off in Comfort/Eco , giving you the ability to crackle when you want, and cruise quietly when you don't. In Individual, crackles can be toggled on or off via Engine Sound.
FREE REVVING IN NEUTRAL AND PARK
The rev-limiter is now removed while in Neutral and Park. Impress friends and annoy those around you with limitless ease!
Torque Safety Strategy Enhancements:The Dynamic+ ECU Tuning accurately reports torque values to the TCU to ensure that all safety systems are intact in both control units, and the added torque from tuning is properly adjusted for when driving/shifting, including all safety systems designed to protect the engine and transmission. This results in better shift quality as the transmission is not having to reduce engine torque or having to adapt to misreported inputs.
Clutch Pressure Increases:In order to safely apply the increased horsepower and torque, DSG Clutch Pressures are increased in all drive modes. Expect to feel firmer and more solid shifts!

Launch Control Optimizations:From the factory, the DQ381 G2 launch control strategies used are very neutered and designed for a vehicle on a non-optimal surface with low-grip tires. 034Motorsport Engineers have optimized the launch by raising the factory torque limit to take advantage of a better surface and a grippier tire. This ensures that your vehicle will 60ft much more effectively and efficiently!
Additionally, significant work was put into refining how AMAX shifts are applied during Launch Control, ensuring that each shift maximizes potential acceleration without inducing wheelspin.

Please download the 034 flashing client if you haven't already, and review the Getting Started guide. You'll need to register your username on 034 Motorsport's server, by inputting your username/email address in the applicable field, and clicking the "Forgot/Reset Password" link. This will send an email to you that will allow you to set your own password, which you'll need to use to log into the flashing client software. Once you are logged into the flashing client, please click on the controller that you wish to program (either ECU - engine, or TCU - transmission) and proceed through the steps listed in the "Getting Started" guide to flash that controller. The files labeled "Stock" are completely OEM software calibrations, as you would have received from the factory, so please only flash these if you wish to go back to stock tuning.
I received an error message stating that "No products are available for this controller", what do I do?
If you receive the error message "No products are available for this controller", please email tuning@034motorsport.com directly, and someone from their tuning support team will advise you on the steps that they will take to get you access to the files that were purchased.
A: This is NOT a difficult process. If you have the ability to open and email and send an email, this is the same level of computer literacy needed.
