Should fit most modern Audi 8V S3/TT/TTS & Volkswagen Golf MK7 GTI/R (EA888.3) motors with electric water pump. Usually replaced as a full package with the water pump.

Popular models: Volkswagen Golf MK7 GTI/R & Audi 8V S3/TT/TTS and Audi A4 B8.5, A4 B9, A5 B9, B8.5 Q5, B9 Q5, Tiquan MQB, Passat MQB, Skoda Octavia MK3, Skoda Superb, Volkswagen Arteon.

It is best to replace the entire kit rather than replacing parts, as its common for the thermostat and water pump to leak or for one to leak then the other to leak. Skilled euro mechanics will replace the lot in one go! (water pump and thermostat).

Service & Maintenance Guide

Minor Service - Oil Service

Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!

Intermediate Service

Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.

Major Service

Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.

Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.

Intermediate Service

Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.

Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.
