Audi B8 A4 Oil Service Kits

The Audi B8 Series has a huge range of models and different parts to fit. The Audi A4 B8 2.0 TFSI (155 kW) uses the black screw in type EA888 and the 8.5 moves to EA888 gen 3 motor (which is the same as Golf MK7 GTI/R/S3). The B9 uses the same parts as 8.5. This is known as the MLB platform as apposed to MQB.

For the B8 2.0 TFSI 155 kW use: 06J115403Q & for the B8.5 165 kW use: 06L115562B

You will need to check your sump - plastic sumps use plastic oil drain plugs.

Do not follow the factory guidelines for change intervals! The shorter the better. If you want a healthy engine change oil once every 12 months or every 5 to 7,000 km.

Service & Maintenance Guide

Minor Service - Oil Service

Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!

Intermediate Service

Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.

Major Service

Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.

Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.

Intermediate Service

Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.

Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.

Golf R 7.5 transformed!

Stage 1 tuning with the DSG gearbox upgrade is impressive, but the shift pattern after the tune is truly remarkable! It’s how the car should have come as standard.

Ignition Coil Connector

Fantastic - instant difference

The parts feel very good quality in your hand, and are fairly easy to install.
Tip: If you're struggling to get the upper insert into the bushing, obviously apply some grease, but also insert a screwdriver in the bolt hole of the mount and tilt it ever-so-slightly away from the mount as you slide it in.

Overall: good product, received in 1 day after ordering, easy to install, noticeable difference.
